Something Was in the Air at Emerald City Comic Con
The City of Seattle was once again fired up for the 2019 Emerald City Comic Con. Which was held at the Washington State Convention Center in Downtown Seattle, WA. Once again Academy of Interactive Entertainment has partnered with ECCC having them allowing us to exhibit a booth providing information about AIE! At our booth we displayed our Cintiq, where students enrolled in our Game Art & Animation and 3D Animation & VFX for Film sculpted new designs for those visiting our table.
As we reminisce on this past Emerald City Comic Con, there's one word that can only describe the energy of this event: passion. Thousands of people having the confidence to outwardly show and express their passion. Whether if it was just wearing a T-shirt of their favorite game or movie, showcasing art at Artist Alley, or someone in full character cosplay - there are all driven by passion.
For some people, education in the creative and technical arts is what inspires this passion.
We met some of our future students that will be starting their education at AIE in August. A wide variety of industry professionals also stopped by the AIE booth, from Ten Gun Design to the WETA Workshop, who were especially interested in being a guest speaker at AIE for future events.
